Coco de Mer

After graduating university with my degree in Contour Fashion, I had the good fortune to be offered a role as a communications coordinator for Coco de Mer London. Despite my degree being in design I believed that I would be able to perform well in this area and so accepted the role with an open mind.

The pandemic and lockdowns meant that there were some challenges and, at one point early in my time with the brand, my manager was made redundant which meant that I began singlehandedly handling all communications, copywriting, and social media for the brand.

The responsibility and pressure was immense so early in my career but gave me great opportunities to grow into the role and push myself creatively.

The major campaign I worked on was that with Julia Restoin Roitfeld and we saw amazing results from this campaign with a boost in followers at around 3k, a boost in subscribers to our mailers by just under 1k, and calculated sales as a result of the social media campaign reaching £11,540 with the pieces featured making up 40% of Lingerie sales since launch. The mailers that I created in my time with the company created the highest revenue through this channel to date which I felt was a huge accomplishment considering my lack of experience.

In my time with the brand I also had the responsibility of photographing products for assets and, all photos on this page without a human model are images I took myself with the exception of the Doxy Wand.
